YouthBuild is based on a proven international model, serving young adults (18-24) through high school equivalency preparation, leadership development, and construction and landscaping hard skills and on-the-job training.


Length: 25 weeks

Certifications: Site Safety Training (OSHA 30 Construction, 8hr Fall Prevention, 2hr Drug and Alcohol, DOB 4hr Supported Scaffold User)

Schedule: M-F 9-5

Next start date: 4/17/23

Typical career paths for graduates: Green construction, building maintenance, commercial driving & warehouse

The YouthBuild program is for young adults ages 18-24 offering hands-on construction training in local communities while building leadership skills and earning their high school diploma.

All jobseekers in YouthBuild are paid a weekly stipend up to $150.

In addition, program participants receive the skills, training and education within the HOPEworks curriculum, including: digital literacy, resume writing, interviewing skills and more.

Our holistic services include professional clothing, meals, and mental health case management.
