HOPEworks builds transferable, essential skills like digital literacy, introductory math, financial planning, communication and conflict management, resume building and job application support, as well as interview prep.
Length: 7 weeks
Certifications: OSHA-10, 8hr and 16hr Security Guard Training
Schedule: M-F 9-5

The core elements of the HOPEworks curriculum are incorporated into each program we offer.
We also cover hard skills and workplace safety. Participants have the opportunity to achieve their OSHA-10 certification.
While enrolled in the 7 week program you’ll receive a $50/week stipend. You must be available Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Our holistic services include professional clothing, meals, and mental health case management.
We first need you to attend an informational session where we’ll walk you through our programs and how HOPE works.
I am passionate about the environment, and so proud to be on HOPE’s CoolRoofs team, where we train jobseekers to improve the energy efficiency of New York City’s buildings. As a HOPE graduate myself, I can help our current students understand what sustainability is all about.
