RECIPIENT

Lee Scott is a retired lawyer and school administrator who has been a devoted HOPE volunteer for 1½ years.

Every week, Lee dedicates two entire days to working in HOPE’s computer lab, where she helps graduates who are looking for employment with their resumes, cover letters, and on-line applications.

Lee connected with our graduates from the first the moment she came to HOPE. She is completely engaged and committed to helping them find and keep jobs that pay a living wage.

Lee just lights up the computer lab with her energy and enthusiasm.

As we say at HOPE: Lee is 200% into her volunteerism!

Get Involved, HOPE needs your help!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at The HOPE Program.  Our volunteer opportunities include:

  • providing supportive services to HOPE staff during our ongoing classes and orientation sessions for new students

The average time commitment is 3-5 hours per week for three months.

To be considered for a volunteer opportunity, please review the available volunteer positions and complete the entire HOPE Volunteer Application.  E-mail the application and your resume to volunteer@thehopeprogram.org.

Please note that due to the large number of applicants, you will be contacted only if we have an open position that suits your availability and our program participants' needs.

We are always in need of specific clothing, books and materials for our students.  Please visit our Amazon Wish List to see the full list of items.  All items are modestly priced.
